It’s time for Six-Word Thursday. The story is mine, but the dress is designed by Claire McCardell, a popular designer from the 1940s and 1950s who said this about her collections: “I’ve always designed things I needed myself. It just turns out that other people need them, too.”
The winner of last week’s Six-Word Thursday is Jennifer Peterson, who won a $15 gift certificate to Shabby Apple. (Be sure to check out Jennifer’s web site–she’s a writer deluxe. (Her entry: Stop! Thief! No, wait. Wrong guy.)
Now it’s your turn. Share your story with a six-word comment and I’ll enter your name in my drawing for a $15 Etsy gift card, usable in any Etsy store of your choice. Who can’t use an extra $15?
Life is short. Wear the good stuff.
