Erica T., looking very much like the diva she is in her debut photo shoot for Dressed Her Days Vintage.

Indy’s first Vintage Diva made her debut yesterday! For her first photo shoot, we wanted a place that represented the very heart of Indianapolis, old and new. We found the perfect backdrop for this thoroughly modern girl who is truly a maven for vintage fashions: the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library’s Central Branch. The sleek glass addition and Greek Doric architecture made of sturdy Indiana limestone might just be the signature landmark for what calls people to wear vintage fashions: the best ideas in life are timeless. Besides that, I really couldn’t resist placing my two passions (books and vintage clothes) together. Here’s the Diva, wearing a 1955 black chiffon dress. (For a full description and pricing information, see the Bridal and Special Occasion department.) All I had to do is show up with a camera and be ready to snap. Erica is a total pro. To everyone who voted for her in our contest, thanks for helping us find our girl!
